The Permanent Course Vision: What the Grant Will Accomplish

Once completed, Perkerson Park will feature a world class 18-hole disc golf course capable of holding a National Tour PDGA event.  The course will be free to play and open to the public.  The course will have two sets of teepads to accommodate advanced level and beginner/intermediate level players.  Most holes will feature multiple basket placements to add variety and combat erosion.   Teepads will be concrete, the gold standard in disc golf courses, in trapezoid shape measure 12’x6’x4’.  Each teepad will have its own informative sign with pertinent hole information displayed in a custom design that is both artistic and sturdy (vandalism resistant).  Additional course features are an informative kiosk at the beginning of the course, trash receptacles, benches and a practice basket.
